Seit kurzem ist Oracle Linux 8.8 verfügbar. Die Highlights sind unter anderem:

• Unterstützung für Intel ICE Driver im Ethernet Port Configuration Tool (EPCT)
• Intel ICE Driver liegt jetzt in Version 6.0 vor und bietet einige neue Features.
• GCC Toolset 12 (VV12.2.1, GDB 11.2, binutils 2.38,…) liegt aktualisiert in einer Software Collection im AppStream Repository vor.
• Rust Toolset auf Version 1.66.1 aktualisiert 
• Apache Tomcat Server Version 9 ist jetzt inkludiert.
• Pyton Version 3.11
• git Version 2.39.1
• nginx 1.33 Web und Proxy Server (mit OpenSSSL 3.0 Support)
• PostgreSQL 15
• Samba 4.17.5
